December 4, 2017 is National Constitution Day. On this special day, the Zhengzhou Judicial Bureau and the Zhengzhou Bar Association jointly held the "2017 Fourth New Practicing Lawyer Oath Ceremony", with 249 new practicing lawyers participating in the oath ceremony. Huang Yaoxin, Deputy Director of the Zhengzhou Judicial Bureau and Secretary of the Zhengzhou Lawyers Association Party Committee, Wang Zheng and Feng Junyi, Vice Presidents of the Zhengzhou Lawyers Association, Wu Zongquan, Deputy Director of the Legal Management Department of the Zhengzhou Judicial Bureau, Tian Hongcang, Director of the Discipline Committee of the Zhengzhou Lawyers Association, attended the oath taking ceremony, and Wu Zongquan, Deputy Director of the Legal Management Department of the Zhengzhou Judicial Bureau, presided over the oath taking ceremony.

At the oath taking ceremony, the leaders of Zhengzhou Judicial Bureau and Zhengzhou Bar Association presented the "Lawyer Practice Certificate" to the sworn lawyer representatives. At the oath taking ceremony, Wang Zheng, Vice President of Zhengzhou Bar Association, led the oath, and 249 new practicing lawyers sang the national anthem in front of the national flag. Under the supervision of the oath taking supervisor, all new practicing lawyers took a solemn and sacred collective oath, clenched their fists in front of the national flag and raised their shoulders. After the oath was taken, the lawyers also signed their names on the oath.

Subsequently, Huang Yaoxin, Secretary of the Party Committee of Zhengzhou Lawyers Association, delivered an important speech and put forward four hopes for new practicing lawyers: firstly, to adhere to their beliefs and never forget their original intentions. Every legal person has a dream of the rule of law in their heart, and if they choose a distant place, they must go through wind and rain. Regardless of whether the road ahead is bumpy or not, we must always remember our original intention, firmly believe in the law, and uphold the rule of law. 2、 Hardship and hardship, jade is in full bloom. The legal industry in Zhengzhou is developing rapidly, with an annual growth rate of 10%. The competition in traditional legal fields is becoming increasingly fierce, and the number of practitioners is approaching saturation, which poses considerable challenges for new practicing lawyers. New lawyers need to think about how to improve their professional skills to adapt to the development of the times. The future is bright, but the road is winding. We hope that new lawyers can be mentally prepared. 3、 Persist in learning and find the right direction. The development of the Internet has posed challenges to the traditional lawyer business, but it has also brought opportunities. New practicing lawyers should constantly learn, combine the historical background and their own characteristics, and find the direction for future practice. 4、 Adhere to the bottom line, be diligent and honest. As a lawyer, one must adhere to the bottom line of the law, have a high sense of pride and honor as a legal person, be diligent and honest in the process of practice, and use professional services to win the respect of clients, clients, and society.

After the oath taking ceremony, Tian Hongcang, director of the Discipline Work Committee of the Zhengzhou Lawyers Association, preached to all new practicing lawyers about the ethics and discipline of lawyer practice, requiring all new practicing lawyers to maintain their independence in lawyer practice, strengthen their awareness of compliance with lawyer practice ethics and discipline, enhance their risk awareness in lawyer practice, always have a sense of awe for the lawyer profession, be qualified guardians of fairness and justice, and be qualified socialist legal workers.
